    ​Self-Paced Training

    FCMAT/CSIS provides a self-paced trainings that allows users to view training presentations at their own pace and a time that is convenient for them. These sessions can be viewed using the links below. You need a login account to view a self-paced training. See the Website Login Instructions for assistance in creating an account.

    They are available in standard Adobe Flash movie format.  You may view the system requirements on Adobe's site to ensure that your system is compatible with Flash format. Additionally, your system should meet the following requirements:

    Hardware

    • Computer with a sound card

    • Speakers or a headset

    • Computer monitor set to a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher (1280 X 960 or higher is recommended)

    End of Year (EOY) 1-4 - Reporting and Certification This course provides detailed instructions for EOY 1, EOY 2, EOY 3 and EOY 4 Reporting and Certification. It also covers certification errors, how to use the CALPADS documentation for troubleshooting and error resolution and common problems with EOY.
    Essential 1 - Overview of Objectives and Requirements This session provides an overview of CALPADS objectives and requirements.
    Essential 2 - Features, Code Mapping and User Access This session provides key functionality concepts, navigation, code mapping and security features of CALPADS.
    Essential 3 - SSID Requests, Enrollment and Maintenance This session provides instructions for Statewide Student Identifier (SSID) Request and enrollment updates via Online or Batch functionality.
    Essential 4 - SSID Anomalies This session provides instructions for SSID anomalies resolution functionality.
    Fall 1 - Advanced Reporting and Certification This session provides an overview for Fall 1 Reporting and Certification. It also covers Fall 1 changes, certification errors, how to use the CALPADS documentation for troubleshooting and error resolution and common problems with Fall 1.

    Spring 1 - Reporting and Certification This session provides detailed instructions for Spring 1 Reporting and Certification. The focus of this session is on Spring data population, functionality, certification reports and common problems.
